ROBOT TESTING GROUNDS

ABOUT

Robot Testing Grounds is a small one level puzzle game that I built as a solo developer, focusing on a few very basic mechanics that are taught without explicit teaching, introducing concepts incrementally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As this was a solo project I am resposible for everything in it, aside from the Unreal third person controller. I took the level design through multiple iterations and feedback cycles and was also responsible for concepting, modeling, texturing and importing all of the environmental assets.

EXTRAS

  • Concepting: I had to concept all of the wall, floor, door assets before beginning the modeling process.

  • 3D Modeling: I created all of the games art assets using 3DS Max.

  • Texturing: Using 3D Coat I textured all of the art assets and imported their revelvant maps and their models into Unreal.
